The Deming PDCA cycle—Plan, Do, Check, Act—is repeated over time to ensure continuous learning and improvements in functions, products, or processes:
- PLAN: Analyze the current situation, gather data, and develop strategies for improvement.
- DO: Test alternatives experimentally in a controlled environment, establish a pilot process, or try it out with a small group of customers.
- CHECK: Determine whether the trial or process is working as intended, identify any needed revisions, or decide if it should be discontinued.
- ACT: Implement the process within the organization or with its customers and suppliers.

Role of Employees in Quality:
We understand that the essence of continuous improvement lies in employee involvement. Our team is committed to enhancing processes, products, and services through creative approaches. Kaizen, a Japanese term meaning continuous improvement, provides a platform for employees to unleash their creativity. The Deming Cycle offers both a conceptual and practical framework for implementing Kaizen activities.
Once the stages of Plan, Do, Check, and Act are completed to satisfaction, the improvements are standardized. This standardized work or product results from the improvement initiative. However, the process does not stop there. As conditions change or new techniques emerge, the standardized work, process, product, or service is revisited and subjected to further improvement, perpetuating the Deming Cycle.
